Squadron Awards 

Awards Parade Night 

Effective Speaking Award - Awarded to the cadet who competed at the highest level of effective speaking. 

Most Improved Biathlete - Awarded to the cadet who has shown the most improvement on the 702 Biathlon team.

Top Biathlete Award - Awarded to the best biathlon team member in the squadron.

Most Improved Musician - Awarded to the musician in the squadrons band who has shown the most improvement throughout the training year.

Top Musician - Awarded to top cadet who is the top musician in the squadron.

The Ean Ferre Award- This is the award for top personal drill in the squadron.

The Drill Team Commander's Shield - This award is presented annual to the squadrons drill team commander. 

Top Marksman - Awarded to the top marksman in the squadron.

Glider Pilot Scholarship - Awarded to the cadet who is attending the gliding pilot scholarship this summer.

Power Pilot Scholarship - Awarded to the cadet who is attending the power pilot scholarship this summer.

Top Level 2, 3, 4 Award - Awarded to the cadets who is top overall in the level 2, 3, and 4.

Annual Ceremonial Review Awards

Top Level 1 Award - Awarded to the Cadet who is top overall in the level 1 proficiency level.

Top Level 5 Award - Awarded to the cadet who is top overall in the level 5 proficiency level
 
Military Institute of Saskatoon Presentation - The Military Institute of Saskatoon presents this award to the Cadet who demonstrates a keen interest in the Canadian Forces and its history and shares that interest with other cadets.

Esprit de Corps Award - This award is given to the cadet who best demonstrates the qualities of a team player, a motivator, and in general a cadet who shows the best attempt at making cadets as fun as possible.  Attendance, dress and deportment, and an overall good attitude in class are also part of the selection for this award.  This award is open to all cadets.

Most Improved Cadet Award - This award is to honour the cadet who has demonstrated the most improvement in all aspects of cadet training including drill, dress, deportment, leadership, attitude, and attendance. 

Air Cadet of the Year Award - This award is given to the cadet who demonstrates the best overall qualities of a cadet, attendance, dress, and deportment, leader, follower, attitude, and involvement with the squadron.  This award is open to all Cadets.

Ambassador of the Cadet Program Award -  This award is in recognition to an individual or group who acts as the best ambassador in support of the cadet program.  To recognize the “above and beyond” efforts carried out in a positive, friendly, energetic and most honest deportment.  This award is open to all officers, volunteers, parents and community or business supporters
