North battleford Gliding Site

Picture
Cadets from 702 Lynx Squadron have an opportunity twice a year to travel to North Battleford Gliding Zone.   All cadets are required to participate in one of these two opportunities in a year in order to see gliding operations in full swing!

Many senior cadets who have their gliding pilots licence, or are preparing to attend the Glider Pilot Scholarship course help out at the gliding zone. Any cadets who are interested are to ask via the chain of command to speak to the Commanding Officer in regards to receiving permission to help out at the gliding zone. A letter of agreement much be submitted by the Commanding Officer of 702 Lynx Squadron to the Commanding Officer of the North Battleford Gliding Zone in order to allow these cadets to assist!
