Ground School

So you want to learn how to fly?

The first step is our Squadron ground school led by pilots who have come through the cadet program!  Combined with 107 Spitfire RCACS, we have staff from the North Battleford Cadet Flying Sight who will be coming to teach junior and senior ground school.

Junior Ground School is for cadets who are not yet eligible to write the qualifying exam for gliding pilot scholarship or power pilot scholarship. This group is to get an introduction to ground school and to build on the knowledge from the level program.

Senior Ground School is for cadets who are eligible to write the exam in January. The purpose is to prepare for success on the exam.

Here is what you need to bring:

Junior Ground School - something to write with, and something to write on!
Senior Ground School - something to write with, and something to write on. There will be electronic notes package provided. You will also want to get a copy of From the Ground Up!

if Interested please speak with one of the officers who work in the training department!
